General Conference

I loved President Monson's General Conference talk about change. It is exactly what I needed to hear. I especially liked how he talked about not putting things off until tomorrow and having a lot of empty yesterdays. I struggle with that a lot. I use to be a real go getter and a doer when I put my mind to it but in the last couple of years I have really started to become a procrastinator and kind of lazy when it comes to "those projects I have been meaning to get to." Having my mom die has really made me realize and value life each day. I feel like I appreciate little things more. Do you ever laugh at a child's prayer because they say thanks and ask for the cutest things? When mom lost her hair, I remember thanking Heavenly Father for my thick hair. Something simple! That is what makes us happy.... being grateful for all the things that we have and not the pity party days, (as mom would call them) where its all about what our life is lacking. Anyway.... Be Happy, Be Grateful and Be Willing to accept change.

Yay.. I love the baby growth chart! I'm so excited that I have a friend who will soon be sharing motherhood for the first time with me. I can't wait to be back in the Tri-Cities too and have our little ones play together! :D Miss you!
